1. Our Role
Document Recovery Zimbabwe is a private document consultancy providing professional assistance with document retrieval, verification, authentication, attestation, legalisation, translation and courier coordination.
We are not a government department, embassy, court, police authority or statutory issuing authority. Official decisions and documents remain the responsibility of the relevant authority.
2. Client Information
Clients must provide accurate, complete and genuine information and documents.
We are not responsible for delays, additional costs or unsuccessful applications resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by a client.
3. Third-Party Authorities
Some services depend on government departments, embassies, registries, institutions and courier companies.
Their requirements, fees, decisions and processing times are outside our control. We therefore cannot guarantee third-party decisions or completion dates.
4. Fees & Payment
Our quotation will identify applicable professional and third-party charges where reasonably possible.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required before processing begins.
Additional costs may arise where circumstances, requirements or client instructions change.
5. Processing & Delivery
Processing times are estimates unless confirmed otherwise in writing.
Courier deliveries are subject to the courier provider’s terms and conditions. Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information.
6. Documents & Confidentiality
We take reasonable measures to protect client documents and personal information.
Information may be shared with authorised authorities and service providers where necessary to complete the requested service.
Clients are responsible for keeping their Client Portal credentials secure.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refunds depend on the stage of processing.
Professional fees and third-party costs already incurred may be non-refundable. An unsuccessful search or third-party refusal does not automatically entitle a client to a refund for work already performed.
8. Liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and professionalism but are not responsible for decisions, delays or failures caused by government authorities, embassies, institutions, couriers or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. We encourage clients to contact us first so that concerns can be resolved professionally and promptly.
10. Acceptance
By submitting a request, making payment, creating a Client Portal account or using our services, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
